So, Phoenix!

So we pick back up with the story on August 8th, in Phoenix! The gig went really well, as usual. The place in Phoenix was a really nice facility, and you couldn't have asked for better weather! We performed in a cafeteria on the second floor, and there was a lot of people there. One vet even knew all the words to all of the service songs. It was great! Plus, one of the veterans in the front asked me when I was going to sing, so the place ranks really high in my book :) Anyway, after the performance we packed up, took our traditional picture and embarked on what I like to call "The Journey to the outside of the Grand Canyon" Yes, just the outside. I'm saving this for a separate post because it was, really, quite an adventure.
